Dr. Jason Shumard is the owner of Active Posture Chiropractic. Dr. Shumard opened Active Posture Chiropractic in 2005 with the desire to promote Chiropractic care to the community of San Diego. He specializes in family chiropractic including pediatric care, sports chiropractic, and structural rehabilitation of the spine.
Dr. Shumard received a B.S. degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University in 2000, and furthered his education with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in 2004.
Dr. Shumard is also a sought after practitioner working with amateur and professional athletes around the San Diego County, and is often found volunteering in numerous charity and community events. Dr. Shumard’s goal is to educate patients on the benefits of Chiropractic care.
Active Posture Chiropractic is founded in the principles of true healing, and it is the intention of the founder to not only help his patients with exceptional chiropractic care, but to also educate them on healthy and functional lifestyles that will support the patient’s health and well being for the rest of their lives.
